Congratulations to Alison Hoeman – Rotary Educator of the Year!

Our very own, Mrs. Hoeman, won the Rotary Club’s “Elementary Educator of the year 2019”.  Mrs. Hoeman has been an ELL teacher at Phillips for the last 4 years, and she has taught ELL for the past 19 years.  She grew up in West Des Moines but has spent most of her career teaching abroad before returning to Iowa.  We are so proud of her and grateful she is a part of our team!
