On Feb. 9, 2015 Phillips students who were top sellers from PTA’s fall fundraiser were invited to a Magic Show in the school gymnasium. Before the show began Phillips Library Associate, Heidi Ellefson was presented with a $5,000.00 check! This was possible only because of the determination of our students and families to make this fund raiser such a huge success. Thank you to our PTA for all they do to support our school and students! Our library now has 384 new books for our student’s learning.
Our students enjoyed celebrating the 100th day of school! Here is Ms. Wolver’s first grade class dressed up for the celebration.
Phillips Student Council members were excited to volunteer with their leader Mrs. Ellefson at Meals of the Heartland located at the Pattie Cownie Center. Van and Bonnie of WHO Radio hosted this event on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015. Our student council members worked the 6:15 – 7:15 am shift to package meals. We are proud of our students for starting their morning so early to help others in the community.
