Senator Amanda Ragan came to Phillips Elementary today to talk to 5th graders about elections and the process for civics.  Ask your 5th grader what he/she learned today!

Alison Hoeman, an ELL teacher at Phillips Elementary, helped organize Des Moines Refugee Support. One of their more recent efforts was a “Free Stuff Store,” providing donated clothing to refugee students and families.
